Announcement: The Sentinel dVPN Network Stats Page will be live again within the coming days Note: The image posted with this announcement is of a future Stats/explorer page design that will not be implemented in the immediate weeks The Sentinel Stats back-end interface was rendered ineffective due to a lack of compatibility ever since dVPN node hosts had to upgrade to Wireguard dVPN Docker v0.3.1. The back-end for the stats page can be seen as a completely decentralized data query system where all of the data was derived from the Sentinel blockchain with no centralized servers keeping track of nodes and other metrics. The previous back-end architecture was configured for the previous dVPN node docker images, however after significant changes in the dVPN node code - the back-end system had to be reconfigured to properly compile the data from Sentinel's Cosmos based Hub's blocks. The network metrics has been on a very strong trajectory in recent times as will be displayed by the stats page very soon.

However using high throughput genius chain like cosmos we have the ability to have nodes identify their availability directly to the chain, and have the user interface with the chain to find the node

What this means is that we can potentially create a revolution in the architecture of VPN applications in the industry as a whole. No longer do VPN companies need centralized structures which create vulnerabilities, they can transition to a ledger based structure for query

So in theory, it is impossible for the network to go down unless the chain goes down. Only if the validators are compromised can the dvpn network get compromised
