This protocol upgrade will allow for: 1) Digital Subscriptions to add dVPN nodes from the public list - Currently digital subscription creators can only add dVPN nodes manually (nodes which arent on the public list) to a subscription (as seen in the POC process). With the upcoming protocol upgrade digital subscription managers (white-labels) will be able to lock dVPN with active nodes and add them to the subscription offering. This aspect of the upgrade will create a seamless economic model between white-label owners and dVPN node hosts, allowing for easy acquisition of dVPN nodes for a subscription with direct on-chain settlement to the node provider 2) Dedicated IP Function - dVPN Node providers can now provide 'dedicated IP' functionality where users can purchase dedicated and exclusive access to a dVPN node for a duration of time (1 month+). This feature is extremely important and useful for users who utilize VPN/dVPN applications to access centralized exchanges and other crypto related services which have AML/KYC based access controls. Users who connect to crypto exchanges using popularly used VPNs are at risk of having their accounts suspended, dVPN nodes on Sentinel that are used for dedicated IP services will be completely exclusive to the user exponentially reducing risk The launch of the new networking protocol will coincide with the proper re-launch of the node incentive programs. Participants of the POC will be rewarded for their participation as mentioned.
