The official release of the Sentinel V2Ray dVPN node is now available and the community can now host nodes on Akash Network's decentralized cloud infrastructure. dVPN nodes will soon be able to support payment in AKT after a future proposal passes. Previously, the only networking protocol integrated with the Sentinel Hub was wireguard, which is not compatible with the decentralized instances available on Akash. Hosting on Akash network will be promoted as a superior alternative to hosting on cloud infra such as OVH White-label applications will be encouraged to indicate on their application front-end whether dVPN nodes are hosted on centralized cloud providers or not by using IP lookup services. Lets end the cloud oligopoly today and support revolutionary solutions such as Akash.
